June 15th news letter

 Hello Rig Riders,

   My apologies for not putting out any news lately, I have been directly involved with the BP well intervention and have been very busy.  First thing first, the attached link http://www.crt.state.la.us/GEST/TakeAction.aspx is to a petition that is going around asking  Washington to end the drilling moratorium in the Gulf. As most of us are employed in the oil industry I am sure we can all see the need to act and let our voices be heard. If you so choose simply click the link, sign your name and send. This is a quick and simple way to let DC know were you stand. Please forward to everybody you know, we need all the help we can get.

 Now for some club news, The Family Fun day was a great success. Everybody had a good time and the kids all had a blast on the splash pad. Plans are to repeat the event next spring on the same third weekend in May. Details will follow at a later date.

 Our Next club meeting will be Sat. the 19^th 9am at the Golden Corral on Ambassador. We have some good new to share so come by and participate in your club. Raymond Jeffers will put a ride together which will depart right after the meeting. Please don’t forget to fuel up and check your equipment. 

 As always if you have an event you would like to see posted please get the information to me in a timely manor and I will get it posted.

 I am looking for pictures from the family fun day or any ride that you would like to see on the web site.
